This Notice describes only the necessary technologies currently used by Vertex SEO.
1. Necessary technologies
The App uses the secure `__Host-seo_gateway_session` cookie to keep authenticated session context, and the short-lived `__Host-seo_lifecycle_decision` cookie with a maximum age of 300 seconds and HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax attributes. The UI uses `zid-seo-ui` local storage for the language preference and to synchronize it between same-origin tabs.
2. No non-essential analytics today
Review of the current SEO frontend found no enabled Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixel, session replay, PostHog, Segment, Amplitude, or similar analytics SDK. We do not use these technologies to profile a merchant for advertising.
3. Future change
While only necessary technologies are enabled, we provide this Notice without asking for analytics consent. Before enabling analytics, marketing, or another non-essential technology, we will update this Notice, assess legal requirements, and obtain consent where required.
